The road to Tango learning is not always a smooth one, we are prone to encounter lots of bumps and detours in our dancing tour. What we need to learn is that this process is a journey, and it takes time and effort-aka-practice, dancing with different partners, listening to the music, taking the time to discover, inhaling and exhaling, until you feel comfortable in your walk, in your embrace, where you can be yourself but better. When we reach that elevation, that sense of being in a different world, where only you and your partner matters and the rest disappears..then you'll realize your road trip has just began, for the search of tango soul is never ending.
Thank you!

Tangueros and Tangueras:

We’d like to thank everyone who attended our last weekend workshop with Somer Surgit. Special thanks to those who came from Omaha, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Ames, Fairfield, Waterloo-Cedar Falls, Davenport, Mechanicsville, Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. We also like to thank Jim Schmitt for making it possible for us to use Markus Cannon’s beautiful studio, in addition of helping to promote the event through the electronic sign, which was awesome.
