Dancers appreciate Mati’s ability to identify and teach the fundamentals of tango for both leaders and followers by coaching them to move in a more balanced, effortless and natural way. He focuses on strengthening his students’ ability to master the elements of tango so they can more easily incorporate these “building blocks” into their social dancing.

Matias Sotto is an internationally recognized Tango Instructor and award-winning dancer who has taught and performed extensively since 2009 in Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Shanghai, Manilla, and Mexico City, and was a featured instructor and performer with Luciana Valle at the 2023 Portland Tango Festival.
